GOC's Annual Outdoor Gathering 2019 will be held from Friday 26th to Monday 29th July at the University of Swansea Singleton Park Campus, overlooking Swansea Bay and a few minutes’ walk from the All Wales Coast path.
Swansea is just off the M4 and served by frequent main-line rail and coach services. A regular bus service goes to the campus from both the rail and bus stations.
The programme of outdoor activities will include a choice of walks of varying difficulty on the Gower Peninsula, UK’s first area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Brecon Beacons, and a cycle ride each day (Saturday and Sunday), as well as a coach trip on the Sunday to St Fagans National Museum of History in Cardiff. There will be two walks on offer for the Monday, and a walk and tour at The National Botanic Gardens of Wales on Tuesday, for people staying longer to explore this beautiful area.
We expect to post details on the website by the end of April, with bookings for individual activities opening on 1st June. Online booking is required for all individual outdoor activities and will close on 12th July. Numbers for each event are limited and you will need to book separately for each event.
