While we are an inclusive club, welcoming both men and women on our events, we know that as an organisation we have significantly more male than female members, and that our female members can find it difficult to find events where they are likely to find other women attending!
The events listed in this "special" group are not intended to suggest a women only event, but rather a list of events where if you attend you are likely to find other women there.
Some local groups have more women members than others, particularly the ones where there is a woman co-ordinator (or joint co-ordinator) though some other groups have a good balance of women and male members too.
Lincolnshire for example have had women travelling from further afield to join in their varied activities so if you want to hear from any other groups as well as your local group please sign up in the groups section in "My GOC" and "My preferences"
To bring women from all over the UK together, since 2016 there has been a women only weekend, usually in May.

There is also a women only walk held at the AOG each year.
