The 2019 Annual Outdoor Gathering and AGM will be held from Friday 26th to Monday 29th July at Swansea University campus, Singleton Park Swansea, South Wales. The campus is about 1 mile from Swansea City centre and directly opposite the sweep of the beautiful Swansea Bay.
Booking is now open (click here to make a booking) and the outdoor activity events, which you can sign up to from 1 June, are listed below. There are a wide range of walks from easy to challenging, where we will be showing off the infamous Mumbles, and the glorious Gower beaches, like Rhossili and Three Cliffs. Other walks further inland include an imposing castle, waterfalls, and a walk around two Welsh mining villages affected by the miners strike of the 1980's and made famous by the film "Pride."
This is a wonderful cycling area too and we have cycle events for both Saturday and Sunday
There is also a full programme of evening entertainment for each of the three nights:
Friday night we have "Blue Bees" - a local theatrical/musical company performing some songs between 8 and 9pm
Saturday night it's the fabulous AOG disco bash - starting at around 8 30pm until 11 30pm
Sunday we have a quiz - again starting about 8 30pm after the evening meal.
