An online meeting for all volunteers and those who would like to volunteer to help in the daytime events of the AOG2027.  This event is repeated on 02 Nov 2026 (here) for those unable to join this event.

AOG2027 will follow a similar framework as in prior years.

This meeting presents the framework to volunteers and potential volunteers. The framework comprises the draft programme of daytime events, key planning dates and a lot of reference material about the venue, its location and even sample walking routes. The framework is documented in an planning handbook, a reference aid to all volunteers.

By end of the meeting:

• existing volunteers should have greater confidence about having volunteered;
• potential volunteers should have greater confidence in volunteering;
• all volunteers will have access to the planning handbook;
• all volunteers will have the opportunity to subscribe to an email distribution list to receive updates about AOG2027 over time.

Most existing volunteers have offered to lead walking and cycling events.

Additional volunteers are sought for marshalling/hosting, leading short orientation walks around campus and to the railway station, event report writing, event report photography, media content moderation and some remaining detailed planning points.
