Bedfordshire has a glorious contrast of countryside.  A former inland ocean formed the dramatic gradients and long views of the Dunstable Downs. Gently rolling hills flow northbound.  Flatlands sit in the middle of the county, running towards the east.  Urban areas provide diverse landscapes of their own, from Bedford and Luton amongst the larger, to Ampthill, Biggleswade and Sandy amongst the smaller.  And loads of villages.

The Bedfordshire group is currently planning its forthcoming schedule of walks.  In the meantime:

  • if you would like to lead an event in Bedfordshire, please get in touch with the current co-ordinators using the contact box below.
  • if you would like to be the co-ordinator for the Bedfordshire group, please get in touch with the current co-ordinators using the contact box below;
  • neighbouring groups may add their nearby walks to this group from time-to-time.

The co-ordinators, regular walk leaders and members of GOC are here to help any budding walk leader and group co-ordinator settle into developing the Bedfordshire group into a master of its own destiny.

Co-ordinators

The current caretaker co-ordinators of Bedfordshire group are Martin T and Pascal C, being also the co-ordinators respectively for the groups Herts and Bucks & Milton Keynes.
