Award winning renowned gardens run mainly by volunteers from the Lakeland Horticultural Society – great views over Windermere & further afield. Walled garden with herbaceous borders, six plant collections, rockery, greenhouses.

Free for RHS (1st partner on joint membership) – otherwise suggested donation of £6. Very limited catering so packed lunch recommended.
