Welcome to this new Cumbria group.   At the present time we don't really have an active group in Cumbria, and are looking for a Group Coordinator or any GOC member to step forward and organise any types of events in the region.

As highlighted on this link, not every event has to be a long 8-12 mile walk through the hills and dales.   Simple events such as a walk around a village, or a visit to an area of natural beauty or other simpler events are absolutely fine.    Please review this link to get some ideas on how to run events and the wide array of events that are possible.
