This year's All Wales Weekend will be in Llanberis at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) from 15th to 18th September and will explore a fascinating mix of wild mountain landscapes and substantial remains of the slate industry in the area.

Two different walks on both Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September will follow parts of the North Wales Slate Trail and go deep into the slate quarries that are so common in the area and provide memorable mountain views on the foothills of Eryri (Snowdonia).  The walk on Saturday offers a choice of either a moderate walk or a more strenuous walk around Llyn Padarn and onto Dinorwic Quarry, and the walk on Sunday traverses the most northern foothill of the Snowdon Massiff, on Cefn Du, providing stunning views of surrounding mountains and lakes before descending through the Glyn Rhonwy Quarry remains.

The weekend is completed by visits to two of North Wales's most renowned gardens: Treborth, on the Friday 15th, and Bodnant, on Monday 18th.
