Roughly 10 mile walk beginning in Marske where there are a few spaces to park. There may be scope to car share from Richmond and then onto Marske.

From Marske we head alongside the Marske Beck, passing Telfit Farm and then on to Helwith a delightful stop for tea and snacks.

Then we have an ascent of Holgate How, returning to Helwith before walking back to Marske via Skelton Moor.

This lovely walk affords great opportunities for sightings of upland birds and to enjoy Moorland views.

The historic village of Marske also has a pretty church which offers snacks and a chance for reflection.
