The Lune Valley and Carnforth

This 35 mile ride north of Lancaster takes in the beautiful lower Lune Valley and a trip to Warton and on the return a possible visit to the 'Brief Encounter' cafe at Carnforth Station.  The university is then reached via Halton and the old railway bridge at Caton.

The return is on low hills above the River Lune and quiet lanes back to the University.
