Coach trip to Levens Hall, gardens and deer park.

Levens Hall is the finest Elizabethan house in Cumbria, set in extensive grounds, around five miles south of Kendal.  Its a stunning family home which features exceptional Elizabethan interiors, with outstanding furniture, paintings and clocks. We will have the opportunity to examine the artefacts linking the house to the Duke of Wellington. Although we will roam the house in our own time, guides based in most of the major rooms will be happy to assist.

Out in the grounds, we will be able to wander through the world’s oldest and largest topiary garden. Nothing on quite this scale exists anywhere else in the country. There is also the Levens Kitchen & Bakery, where refreshments may be purchased.
