We are excited to have appointed the LGBT marketing agency OUT loud to work with us over the coming months to support GOC in refreshing our branding and website design. OUT loud supported us last year with a successful Facebook ad campaign.
The project is to support the club’s efforts to grow the membership and improve inclusion and diversity by making the website more attractive and user friendly, particularly to younger people, women and LBTQI+ people as well as existing members. It will also provide the design basis for additional online & print marketing materials such as an email newsletter template, a 50th anniversary logo, beer mats, posters, magazine ads.
We received 12 proposals from prospective consultants and interviewed three of the strongest contenders, and we are grateful to all of them and to all the members who have helped in the shortlisting and appointment process. Watch this space for your opportunity to contribute to the project very soon, by responding to a short survey to help us to articulate the club’s identity, vision & values - as the basis of the design refresh and to serve also as the basis of a new strategic plan.
Our aim is to share the results of this survey here in a website news post, and then a first draft of the new design also by mailshot with those who have contributed before the Annual Outdoor Gathering at the end of July. We will then finalise it based on your feedback after that, and then implement it on the website and other materials by the end of September.
