A revisit to YHA The Sill, nr Bardon Mill, Northumberland.

This hostel is ideally placed for exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall and the Northumberland Pennines.  A short stroll takes you to Vindolanda Roman Fort which has a museum and the remains of an ancient Roman Fort which was abandoned in the 9th century. A well preserved section of Hadrian's Wall is a ten minute walk away.

• A programme of walks over the weekend will be arranged to take in some of the sites - leaders TBC!
• The cost covers two nights accommodation including breakfast in three four bedded rooms (bunks).
• We'll plan to have a joint evening meal in the pub next door on the Saturday evening (booking required).
