This is a GOC National Outdoor Weekend. 8th - 10th July.

Held at Hayles Fruit Farm,  Winchcombe,  Cheltenham GL54 5PB

Open to GOC  members everywhere. A great central location, with the primary aim of enjoying the Great Outdoors together. Walking, wandering round the farm, cycling, fruit picking, trips on the steam train at Hayles Abbey Halt, halfway between Broadway and Winchcombe , Hailes Abbey ruins, Sudeley Castle, plus of course eating, drinking and sitting round the fire pits under the stars.

The Campsite has direct access to the Cotswold Way. I hope local GOC groups might offer to lead walks in the area.  Al the Women's Coordinator has kindly offered to share walks she knows with anyone who would volunteer to lead. If you can lead a walk contact Al, email: [email protected]

There is a Farm shop and restaurant open all day for breakfasts and lunches, coffee, cakes etc. Friday evening is Fish and Chips from 5pm to 8pm. Saturday evening they are willing to open to us exclusively as a group for dinner, if there is enough interest.

If members wish to stay in a B&B but join in with walks, other activities and meals, they too are welcome. The primary aim is to enjoy being together.
