Approx 10 miles mainly on bridleways and with minimal ascent. Some sections on minor roads.

The walk takes in the eastern part of the Knaresborough Round through pleasant countryside and woodland around the villages of Goldsborough and Coneythorpe. We will also cut through the outskirts of Knaresborough. Possible pub stop near the end.

Meet 10.30am. Take minor road north towards Flaxby off A59 approx 1 mile west of A1 J47. Park in layby almost immediately on RHS just before Morrisons Depot.

Equipment:  walking boots, waterproof jacket and trousers, warm clothing. Trekking pole(s) recommended if normally used.
