Solent and Dorset/Wiltshire – Salisbury to Clarendon Palace

Event Details

A there and back trip (with some small alterations) leaving Salisbury and heading north to the ruins of Clarendon Palace which was once the biggest medieval deer park in England and a major royal palace until 1600. It was here that King Henry II had his public disasterous and unreconcilable split with Thomas a Becket leading to his murder. Now it is guarded by Llamas and if if one is lucky perhaps one could see the famous two headed llama as seen in Doctor Dolittle and sung about by Dickie Attenborough "You have never seen anything like it" Honest.
