This is a 10 mile walk around parts of the Chiltern Heritage Trail. We start in Old Amersham and follow roughly the course of the River Misbourne to Little Missenden. Then we head uphill towards Holmers Green, then Penn Street, Winchcombe Hill and Coleshill before descending to the starting point. This is the all within the Chilterns National Landscape and is a typical mixture of open farmland and woodland, with picturesque villages, cricket grounds and ancient churches.

Bring a packed lunch, drinks and something to sit on. There will be the opportunity to visit a pub or tea room after the walk.

The meeting point is ~1 mile away (~20 minutes) from the nearest railway station.
