***For anyone who did this at Christmas, I have extended this walk to 7-8 miles to include more of the Pembroke Dock area.

This is a pleasant and interesting circular walk.

The walk mixes magnificent views of Milford Haven waterway, lovely deciduous woodland, and sites of historical and architectural interest, including Pembroke Castle and Mill Pond, plus the Victorian town and dockyard of Pembroke Dock which is overlooked by the magnificent Defensible Barracks.  

We will walk towards Pembroke Dock and enjoy superb views of the Milford Haven waterway.

We make our way to Pennar and Barrack hill giving stunning views, then past the Defensive barracks and a fort.

Then on into Pembroke Dock to explore Memorial Park and the Military cemetery.

The terrain includes minor road walking, plus grass, gravel and muddy paths.
