This is an afternoon walk of approx. 5 miles to start the next leg in the Heart of Wales trail.

We left this little stretch especially to start us off this time having finished leg 3 at Cynghordy.

So after this afternoon walk, we will start on Tuesday at Cynghordy walking south towards Llandovery.

NB: We will be walking this leg from the forestry car park near Cynghordy to Llanwrtyd Wells.

The trail climbs here over the watershed between the Irfon and Bran rivers through Crychan Forest and down to the main road and along a minor road and a few footpaths into Llanwrtyd Wells.
