Llansteffan
This is a 7 mile moderate walk. It is mostly fairly gentle, with maybe just one real incline after lunch.
It's a lovely mix of coastal scenery, countryside and the attractive village of Llansteffan.
The views at Wharley Point are breathtaking across Carmarthen Bay.
We will pass St Anthony's well, an ancient spring said to have healing properties.
The ruins of beautiful Llansteffan Castle dominate the landscape.
This is where we will have lunch.
After lunch we will proceed to Llansteffan village and passed Llansteffan Church of
Norman origin.
Then there is a steepish climb but on a good wide path and then further up through some fields.
The views are magnificent.
Very dog friendly. No stiles, only kissing gates.
Towards the end of the walk, we can get a cuppa in the cafe/take away on the seafront.
From there it's a short walk back to the cars.
