This is a 5.5 mile walk from the centre of Pontardawe.

We will start by the canal making our way to the Riverside community centre which is in a green oasis between the canal and the River Tawe.

We will then start a brief uphill climb through the beautiful woodland of Coed  Alltacham, emerging at the top with great views and approaching Llangwig church, where we will have our lunch.

**The church will be open for light refreshments and for some information/history.

From there we walk across the golf course and down what is known locally as "100 steps" though I think there are more than 100!!

We then proceed to the magnificent, hidden away, Cwm-du glen and back to Pontardawe.
