A moderate A to B linear Walk with a choice of 2 walks :

Hardy Monuments and Maiden Castle
LONG: A 8.5 mile linear walk along the South Dorset Ridgeway path, with commanding views of the Jurassic Coast, Portland, and the Fleet (if fine weather) and exploring the iron age hillfort of Maiden Castle [picnic stop] with commanding views of Poundbury and surrounding countryside.

Hardy Monument & the Stone Circle, with extensive views of Maiden Castle and the Jurassic Coast
SHORT. A moderate 5 mile walk along the South Dorset Ridgeway path passed Hardy Monument, with extensive views towards the Jurassic Coast, Portland, and the Fleet (if fine weather) and commanding views of Maiden Castle.
**At a midpoint Group 2 Short will turn off at the Martinstown NT Sign Marker, to head back to the Brewers Arms.
