This circular walks starts in the village of Earls Barton (close to Northampton) which was at the origin of the movie Kinky Boots. I would not suggest doing the walk in high heels as the route is not suitable for this type of footwear.

Starting from All Saints Church Isee main picture) and the historic part of the village, we will go down hill for a  a while to reach the river Nene.

We will then use the tow path (not kept to the same standard as the Grand Union sadly, the ground is uneven). We will leave the Nene near the Jigsaw Lakes on our way to another pictoresque village (Ecton) before returning to Earls barton.
