This is a weekend away, postponed from March 2020.

There will be a Friday afternoon walk and a walk on Saturday with a group meal arranged that evening** and a walk on Sunday.

Fridays walk will be a get to know Barmouth. Full details can be seen here.

The walk on Saturday will be on the coast, using the train, and walking back to Barmouth over the iconic Barmouth bridge. You can see full details here.

Sundays walk will be a circular one, starting on the coast and coming over the hill back to Barmouth at the end.

***There is lots to do and explore in this area for non walking partners--for example heritage railways both north and south of Barmouth at Tywyn and Porthmadog plus nearby Dolgellau, Harlech with it's castle and the beautifully quirky Portmeirion.

There is also a lovely cycle trail from Barmouth --cycling over Barmouth bridge-to Dolgellau 9 miles each way, on a former railway track, The Mawdach trail. I've done it a few times and it's a fabulous cycle ride
