Arnside Knott and Silverdale

This is a supplementary walk added instead of the Cringlebarrow Woods walk, which has had to be cancelled. 

This walk is similar to the version on Saturday, but as we’re not meeting up with Basil in Arnside, we can start at the RSPB centre by Silverdale station, which has better parking.  The route is much the same as the Saturday version, but Arnside will come at roughly halfway, so useful for lunch.  There is a café at the RSPB visitor’s centre, just over the road from the car park for a drink after the walk. We pass Arnside Tower, Arnside Knott for views then drop down to Arnside.  The return hugs the coast on a narrow path above the sea, which will require care, back Silverdale.
