This is a moderate, circular walk of five and a half miles from and to Llandrindod Wells Lake Park, visiting a popular beauty spot at Shaky Bridge halfway around (the original wire bridge across the river Ithon was dangerously shaky), Bailey Einon Nature Reserve, the grass covered ruins of Cefnllys Castle, and the 14th century, Church of St Michael.

10 am start.  Fifteen minute drive from Rhayader.
