This is one of a series of events that we have been invited to join by Rainbow Canopy, the Forestry Commission’s LGBTQ+ Network.  The full list is below.

Parking fees are waived and if your group requires transport to a site they may be able to help with the arrangements. While their funding is limited, they may also be able to provide some light refreshments or packed lunch depending on the level of interest.

The visit could take the shape of a wilderness walk or a wellbeing walk, and will be guided by one of our knowledgeable members of staff. They want you to create meaningful connections to the forest, and hope that the day will be filled with moments of joy, reflection, connection, and camaraderie.

I have been liaising with the Forestry Commission’s LGBTQ+ Network about the Salcey Forest event. Please note the date has changed to 29th June.  Its planned to start at 10.30 there is 15 places available  and there will be some refreshments provided. Please book online by 14th June and advise any dietary requirements.
