A moderate walk of about six miles, to the peak of Sugar Loaf - the hill that dominates the Abergavenny skyline - from the National Trust car park on the hill.  Day four of the All Wales Weekend.

The car park is quite a way up the hill, saving most of the climb up.  The scenery is open moorland with extensive views (on a good weather day), and the terrain is tracks and good paths that may be muddy in places.
