  • TerrainEasy enough walk – walk for people with country walking experience and a good level of fitness. May include some steep paths and open country, and may be at a brisk pace. Walking boots and warm, waterproof clothing are essential.
Leighton Buzzard ‘Old Linslade Circular’ 8 miles, Beds/Bucks

This is a pleasant post Christmas 8 mile circular walk which for part of the time takes you along the Grand Union Canal and the Ouzel Valley passing through Old Linslade, Great Brickhill, Stockgrove and Rushmere Country Park (Greensand Trust) on the penultimate day of the calendar year 2023.

Bring packed lunch, water (essential), snacks and fruit and something to sit on.

Optional pub visit at the end - "The Three Locks " Soulbury/Stoke Hammond.
