
5 Hills and Natural Spring, The Chilterns AONB (Bank Holiday 8 May)
**** Bank Holiday Walk ****
We are taking advantage of the additional Bank Holiday , this year.
Our ' Pre-Eurovision' walk.
This walk will pass through the most Easterly part of the Chilterns shared by Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
Will enjoy sweeping views over the surrounding countryside and ascent/descent five special hills (small mountains) all over 130 meters and below 200 meters.
This walk will start from the historical village of Lilley known for the Silver Lion emblem. The walk is full of bird singing, various crops, a woodland adorned with bluebells, hills with views across Bedfordshire. Ancient pathways and an area known for conservation. All pathways are predominantly farm tracks which are well used by walkers, runners, cyclist and horses.
Optional Pub Stop at end of walk.
