16 members braved the weather and the mud to enjoy a walk on top of the Chiltern Ridge. The rain held off for the first couple of hours, and despite the mud underfoot, we enjoyed some good displays of bluebells in the woods and fine views in the open countryside. At lunchtime however, heavy rain set in and we decided to take a short cut back to the start. Near the end, we encountered a flooded road, but thanks to Tom (the only one to have brought wellies) everyone else was supported to cross around the edge of the water.

Despite being thoroughly drenched everyone seemed to have had a good time.
