An easy 6 mile circular walk around the Whiteford National Nature Reserve and Whiteford Sands.

Starting at the Llanmadoc car park, the walk takes a path through Cwm Ivy and down to the nature reserve.

The path then leads through pine woods alongside Cwm Ivy Marsh arriving at the beach near Whiteford Point.

The Victorian cast iron Whiteford lighthouse is closest to this point with views of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire across the estuary.

The return path is besides the dunes along the beach with a chance for a picnic lunch. Passing Cwm Ivy Tor, the path leads back up the hill to the carpark.

An optional visit can be made to Llanmadoc Church.
