Following recent changes in government advice regarding Covid-19 to avoid all non-essential travel and maintain social distancing, all walks and other activities are cancelled until further notice.

This walk begins in Sicklinghall and heads north east through Stockeld Park before crossing the Harrogate to Wetherby road and continuing to join the Harland Way which follows the course of a disused railway to Wetherby. From the town the walk follows the River Wharfe upstream before cutting off through the town golf course to Linton and then follows a bridleway road and fields to Lime Kiln Wood and then to Sicklinghall House and back to the village.
8.6 miles circular route, mostly on good footpaths. Climbing 150m.
Food & Drink: please bring a packed lunch and something to drink. After the walk we hope to take refreshment at a local pub or cafe.
Equipment: walking boots, waterproof jacket and trousers, warm clothing. Trekking pole(s) recommended if normally used.
