A circular walk of 10.4 miles featuring Lee Valley, Rammey Marsh, Enfield Lock, Enfleld Wash, Turkey Street, Forty Hall, New River (including the old course), Theobalds Park.
Terrain includes pavement, footpath over grass, field & field edge, towpath and park track.
Elevation ranges from 17m to 72m.
The Forty Hall gardens are at their best in the main flowering season, for which May is our best guess to capture the later flowering season. At the end of walk, we should take in the late afternoon light in Theobalds Park.
Bring packed lunch, plenty of water and something to sit on. Wear sturdy boots or trainers. Expect some mud.
There is no pub stop at the end of this walk.
