This 8 mile walk over fields and tracks gives wonderful views west to the Emley Moor television mast, and south to the village of Cawthorne. It ends with a trip through the Bretton Country Park, which is now the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, crossing the Lower Lake.

Equipment: walking boots, waterproof jacket and trousers, warm clothing. Trekking pole(s) recommended if normally used.
