This is the Transpennine Christmas Meet deferred from 2020.  The meet will only take place if COVID rules allow.

This meet was originally gong to be in the Lancashire village of Slaidburn in The Forest of Bowland.   The YHA are not going to open Slaidburn YH now until mid 2022 at the earliest, so they have moved our booking to Langdon Beck YH in the North Pennines.  This is on the other side of Cross Fell from Dufton, where we had the last Christmas meet in 2019.

The price includes breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday mornings, plus pre-dinner drinks on Saturday evening and a full Christmas dinner on the Saturday night.

Walks will be arranged for both Saturday and Sunday; there is plenty of attractive walking direct from the door of the hostel on local hills and surrounding moorland.
