A linear walk of 13 miles from Tottenham Hale to Finsbury Park via open marshland and riverways, a fascinating mix of metropolitan countryside, parkland and development.

Wear sturdy trainers.  Much of the route is on hard-standing, with some of the route on track.  Expect some mud.

Much of the route is exposed.  Bring waterproofs and wear sun screen.

The route contains some short inclines, but otherwise the route is on the flat.

Bring packed lunch, lots of water and something to sit on.  Cafes and kiosks are available throughout the walk, but do not rely exclusively on these.  For a 13-mile walk, time is of the essence.
