Book Tickets for a journey on the West Somerset Railway
Meet at Bishops Lydeard Station at 09:50. Our train departs at 10:15 bound for Minehead, arriving there at 11:35. Explore Minehead and take lunch. You'll have just over two and a half hours in Minehead.
Board the train for Washford, departing Minehead at 14:20, arriving Washford at 14:45.
Walk from Washford Station along the old mineral line path to Watchet, which is about 2 miles and easy so should take about 1 hour, thus arriving in Watchet around 15:45. This gives us an hour and twenty-five minutes to explore Watchet, have an ice cream, look at the art, the museum etc.
Board the train for Bishop's Lydeard at Watchet departing 17:10. You'll be back at Bishop's Lydeard Station at 17:52.
