The charming mix of ancient woodland and newer planting at Greyfield Wood was once part of the Earl of Warwick’s hunting estate. It spans some ninety acres.

The route chosen is circular, and starts in the woodland and ends in the countryside along footpaths through fields back to the starting point. Its approximately four miles of mainly flat terrain, with a few downhill parts and not too strenuous uphill parts. It can be muddy in places so sturdy footwear is advised.
