A glorious and uplifting walk in one of the most attractive parts of the South Downs, which should be looking its best at this time of year. Starting in the pretty village of Slindon, we will make a gentle ascent through the open downland of Little Down and Great Down, then via the Monarch's Way round to Bignor Hill.  From Bignor Hill we will take the Roman road Stane Street down into North Wood and then return through the beech woods to Slindon.
