Scotland Gardens – Dunfermline – Visit to Iris specialist grower

Event Details

A special event to kick off the Scotland Gardens summer season with this visit to a private garden in Dunfermline, owned by Iris enthusiast and specialist Rik who will be on hand to guide us around the 70 or so iris cultivars, many historically and internationally important. These are set in a green oasis of many (Asian) ornamental trees and relaxing water features.

Bring a picnic to share and enjoy lunch in the garden. Teas and coffees will be provided - bring your own mug please. Bring any other beverages you prefer

The garden offers disabled access but with limitations in some areas of the garden. Assistance dogs only are welcome.

This is a private GOC event and entry to Rik's garden is under the umbrella of the annual Scottish Gardens Scheme fundraising events, therefore there is a donation of £5 per person (min) to be paid in cash on entry. Please refer to Rik on the day or the SGS website for more information. The garden is accessible by arrangement directly with Rik during May and June if you are unable to make this date.
