Michael is also President of the Local History Society and he will be able to provide some fascinating insights along the way.
- Featuring the beautiful Ada Salter Garden, historic Rotherhithe Village, tranquil Russia Dock Woodland and some of the finest river views in the world.
- Moderately paced on paved footpaths with many interpretive stops - and only one hill!
- Lunch at Stave Hill viewpoint while enjoying local scenery (bring packed lunch or buy at start).
- Afternoon stop at Surrey Docks Farm with its café and history trail.
- After the walk, an opportunity to visit The Brunel Museum and enjoy afternoon tea at a local café, a drink at an historic Thames-side inn, or a Chinese buffet at the renowned Rainbow Restaurant.
