Walk the iconic Cheddar Gorge with magnificent views of the gorge and beyond. Measuring 2 miles long and 400ft (122m) deep, this is England's largest gorge. Some sections of the walk are rough under foot, but you'll be compensated by the fresh air and the splendid views.

This is a circular walk, taking us north from Cheddar, high on the western side of the gorge, returning on the eastern side, taking in the famous Black Rock.  You must carry food and drink for the two breaks on our six-mile walk, although you may purchase refreshment at the start and the end, there are no facilities on the route. You must wear stout footwear for this walk.

We'll finish in a local pub or cafe to exchange anecdotes of our high-level adventure.
