A circular walk of 10 miles. Features include lush metroland countryside, posh property eye-candy, one wide view, a dalek station, aircraft, a golf course, a cute little village, a glimpse of Wall Hall Mansion and the River Colne. Potential guest appearance by Japanese Knotweed.

Terrain includes pavement, field edge, field middle, short grass meadow and track on highway, footpath and bridleway. Fields in this area are mainly heavy clay, getting claggy when wet, sticky when slightly damp. Gradient is slight, starting at 71m, rising to 108m, falling to 55m, with a maximum slope of 14% over 516m, both uphill and downhill.

There was one stile on this walk on its final test on Sat 29 May 2021.

On the final test, in spite of over a week of dry weather, there were patches of wet mud.  Expect to get muddy!

Bring packed lunch, plenty of water, hand sanitiser, face covering and something to sit on. Wear sturdy boots.
