  • TerrainTypical Peak District walking: some steep uphill climbs, mainly good tracks with some muddy footpaths.

A great circular hike in the Derbyshire Dales from Over Haddon, near Bakewell.

The hike will go through Lathkill Dale SSI, via Alport into Bradford Dale, Rowlow Brook, Middleton, and Youlgreave.
Starting at at Over Haddon carpark.

We will go past a number of geological and historical features over a distance of 10 miles with 1100ft of climbing.

Afterwards we can sample a pint at the Lathkil Hotel overlooking the dales.

NOTE: Daylight savings (BST) starts today! So don't forget to set your clocks accordingly.
