The Lammermuir Hills lie to the south east of Edinburgh and are traversed by two parallel minor / B-Class roads rising to heights of around 400m. These will form the basis of our 63 mile (101 km) circular ride (run jointly with Out Velo) which will take us through Garvald, past the Whiteadder Reservoir to the border town of Duns, where we will have a lunch stop. Our return route will take us through Longformacus and Gifford.

The ride is best suited to lighter road bikes and you should have a reasonable level of fitness to comfortably complete the ride at an average pace of around 10 mph.
