An easy circular walk of approx. 6.5 miles from Littlehampton town centre. We plan to stop and rest at Climping beach for a swim and a bring your own picnic lunch. The walk is a mixture of footpaths, fields, beach, dunes and riverside walkways. From the town centre it is an easy walk into the surrounding country with views towards Arundel, over the sea and along the Arun river. Footpaths are narrow in places and can be muddy after rain but the walk is flat and relatively easy.

At the end of the walk we shall have tea and cake (provided) at Friends Meeting House; in the garden if dry, inside if wet.

Bring drink for the walk and a packed lunch to eat on the route. (Don't forget there'll be cakes at the end.) Please wear clothes appropriate for the weather and terrain. Dogs are welcome if kept on leads whenever near livestock, on roads or if requested by the walk leader.
