We follow the Pennine Way up from 246m to 516m up on the side of Dodd Fell. We contour at that level to Cam End where the Dales Way and the Pennine Bridleway join us.

We enter Yorkshire 3 Peaks country with views towards the Ribblesdale Viaduct carrying the Settle - Carlisle line with the peak Whernside to it's right, to the left the peak Ingleborough, and peeps on our side of peak Pen y Ghent, where we'll be tomorrow.

We walk on the old pack horse trail through limestone karst country, pot holes and waterfalls to Horton in Ribblesdale. A lovely day
