JOGLE Day 41 Dufton to Langdon Beck
We start by climbing up to High Cup Nick from 194m to 580m. This gives us (in clear weather) one of the most iconic views of the Pennine Way and of North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A former glacial valley, with steep sides and flat bottom. A text book example.
We then make our way across open moorland over slab bridges, stepping stones and duckboards to the banks of the Tees via Cauldron Spout waterfall.
I will leave the Pennine Way to make my way to the B6277 road and walk to Langdon Beck Hotel.
