This is an area with a proud history of cider making - sorry no free samples!!

Percy and Fred Bulmer launched their legendary Woodpecker brand in 1896.

From the car park we will walk by the River Wye and loop back to our starting point on a path near an orchard.This will be just over a mile and NO,

the walk doesn't end yet!!

We then walk a bigger loop firstly on a country lane up to Drovers wood, viewing a cider press on route - see photo.

This wood is now managed by the Woodland trust but formerly owned by Gillian Bulmer.

After passing a beautiful pond we come to another wood, Wyevale wood.

Green lane an old drovers road, brings us to a field and woodland.

Rejoining the Wye valley trail we walk through another field back to the start.

This is mainly easy walking but with some inclines. There are 4 stiles none of which are dog friendly.
